BIOGRAPHY

My name is Heather, and I trained as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) in 2019 in Central Cheshire. Since 2022, I have worked as a Senior PWP in the Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Talking Therapies Workforce Development Hub, facilitating clinical supervision with trainee, apprentice and qualified PWPs throughout local services. Alongside my PWP career, I am currently studying for a Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology at LJMU, with keen interests in health literacy, long-term conditions, and perinatal wellbeing. I have recently joined the PWP Programme at LJMU as a Senior Lecturer, and I feel very excited to support and shape our future psychological workforce. In my spare time, I enjoy time spent outdoors and with family/friends.
