BIOGRAPHY

I am an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow and Research Fellow at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). My research aims to improve access to health and social care for informal (unpaid) carers by understanding how socioeconomic disadvantage and digital exclusion create barriers to support.

My work spans evidence synthesis, qualitative and quantitative research, and participatory approaches such as photovoice. I am particularly interested in health inequalities, service accessibility, public involvement and developing research that leads to meaningful improvements in policy and practice.

Alongside my doctoral research, I have contributed to research in suicide prevention, mental health and public health. My goal is to produce evidence that not only advances academic knowledge but also improves the experiences of carers and other underserved populations.
