John began working in higher education in 1996 facilitating the development of staff, students and local businesses. He is a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA) and has worked in the Careers Advisory Service, Business Development Centre, Centre for Staff Development and Human Resources. As an experienced Coach he has a passion for helping others get the best from themselves and achieve their goals. John has worked as an Executive Coach for Liverpool Business School, as part of a leadership development programme which won the European Foundation for Management Development Gold Award, and for the School of Education coaching senior leaders in Further Education and secondary school Head Teachers.
