Sheila  Korir is a UK-based higher education professional and MSc Project Management graduate from Liverpool John Moores University. She specialises in student engagement, academic administration, and research support, with hands-on experience in data management, compliance, and project coordination within university environments.

Sheila currently works as a Degree Apprenticeships Onboarding Officer, supporting large-scale data processes, stakeholder coordination, and student–employer engagement in line with GDPR and institutional requirements. Her experience across academic quality, curriculum development, and student advisory roles has strengthened her ability to manage complex workflows, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality assurance processes.

Her MSc dissertation explored the consequences of the digital skills gap on the progress of digital transformation initiatives, reflecting her strong interest in how organisations adapt to technological change and the barriers that impact implementation. She holds a BSc in Business Management & Information Technology and completed her postgraduate studies through the British Council-funded GREAT Scholarship.

Her broader interests lie in applied educational research, particularly student resilience, enterprise education, and decision-making in VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) environments. With professional experience in both Kenya and the UK, she brings a global perspective and is passionate about leveraging education, data, and digital skills to improve student outcomes and support inclusive access to opportunities
