BIOGRAPHY

Prior to startng my nursing jounery I worked as a healthcare assistance in a large residential home, mostly caring for those with dementia. This taught me patience, care and compassion which ultimately led to my decision to go into nursing.

I began my nursing degree here at Liverpool John Moore's in 2020 in the midst of covid, it was extremely challenging but this only pushed me to try harder and do better. I qualified with a first class honours in 2023 and started my job on a Nephrology ward.

Working in an area with a high care unit, I wwas required to complete an actue illness management course to ensure the safest management of our poorliest patients.

As a nurse I prided myself on being approachable and a safe place for students to ensure they understood the environment they were working in and felt safe to ask questions- this inspired me to my current role here.

As of September 2025 I have been a clinical skills tutor at Liverpool John Moores and have assisted in the delivery of simulated placements across the 3 years of practice as well as the nursing masters programme. I love being able to create a safe space for students to make mistakes and learn in an 'initial' clinical environment.
