Samuel is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the School of Nursing, Public and Allied Health. He is an experienced registered nurse with expertise across several specialties within both the NHS and the private sector. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in general medicine, he has substantial experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of general medical presentations. He previously worked as a clinical research nurse in clinical haematology, leading the delivery of clinical trials in rare haematological disorders, including sickle cell disease, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), haemolytic anaemia, and various bleeding disorders.

He holds a Master of Science in Advanced Clinical Practice with Distinction from Liverpool John Moores University, where he was awarded Advanced Practice Learner of the Year in recognition of his commitment to research and academic excellence. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Nursing from Valley View University, Ghana. Samuel has a strong passion for research and its capacity to advance patient care, and has collaborated with institutions and colleagues on research projects with direct impact on patient outcomes.
