Ayesha Ibrahim is a Teaching Fellow in Applied Project Management within the Construction Management subject area at Liverpool John Moores University. Bringing over a decade of combined higher education teaching and industry experience, she specializes in agile methodologies, hybrid project delivery, digital transformation, and people-centered project governance. She holds an MSc in Project Management from LJMU, PRINCE2, is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM®) and Agile Leader (CAL® 1) from Scrum Alliance.

I view project management as a holistic discipline driven by strategic thinking, precise timeline execution, and empathetic leadership. Modern delivery environments demand project leaders who commit to continuous self-improvement—studying, questioning, and actively collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems.

Bringing a digital and contemporary practice perspective to the Construction Management team, my industry experience spans software delivery, e-commerce, and public sector initiatives. As a Digital Project Manager, I managed £1.8M project portfolios, implemented cross-company agile frameworks, coached technical teams, and applied AI automation for delivery efficiency. As a tech startup co-founder and alumnus of the US Department of State TechWomen Emerging Leaders Program, I bring direct experience in startup incubation, business modeling, and user-centered solutions.

My academic foundation pairs an MSc in Project Management with an MPhil in Asian Studies (Double Gold Medalist) and a background in Anthropology. This integration of social science and structured project management theory shapes my focus on organizational behavior, team dynamics, and adapting agile principles into broader industry sectors.
