I am an established teacher with experience of teaching across a range of practice-based and theoretical modules on professionally-accredited journalism programmes. In the classroom, I enable students to develop practical and critical and creative thinking abilities. I have taught undergraduate and post graduate programmes including MA Global Journalism, BA Journalism and BA Journalism and Media and allied courses. I score well in student feedback, and have recorded 100 per cent satisfaction in student evaluation. I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and have developed curricula and the teaching practice of others. I also have extensive external examining experience and I have led professional accreditation processes and external quality assurance.
