Matt Clark is a social philosopher, whose main research interests are in trust/social cohesion and what organisations are and how we can make them act more ethically. I have wider interests in liberal civic virtues and theory, moral psychology and social ontology. I have a growing interest in how automation and AI may affect the nature and purpose of work. At LJMU, I teach the core philosophy elements of our PPE (philosophy, politics and economics) programme. In my research, teaching and public work, I am interested in how we build engaged philosophy and its role in policymaking and public life.
