Dr Sunghwan Kim is a Lecturer in Forensic Psychology and a BPS Chartered Psychologist. Before entering academia, he spent over a decade as a Criminal Behavioural Analyst with the Korean National Police Agency, specialising in offender profiling and behavioural analysis in complex criminal investigations. He has extensive experience in teaching psychology and criminology, developing research-informed learning, and supervising student research. He holds a PhD and MSc in Investigative Psychology from the University of Liverpool and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is also a member of the British Psychological Society’s Division of Forensic Psychology and the International Investigative Interviewing Research Group.
